I read this somewhere and just kind of tucked it in the back of my mind. This article said that you find where they’re coming in, and put the Sweet n Low around there, and they take it back to their colony, eat it, and die. Now we’re having problems with ants, and since I have young children in the house, I don’t want to use anything like Raid, and even ant traps aren’t safe for them.
So I’m just wondering if Sweet n Low works, or if you know of anything else that I can use to get rid of them.
every spring we have ants in our kitchen and bathroom the real small ants we have tried sprays, powders, traps, nothing works, i even tried homemade remedies like cucumber peels, baby powder, walnuts,, nothing keeps them away..they are driving me crazy but they don’t seem to bother my husband he says he get tired of me fighting with the ants.. we leave nothing sweet or any kind of food out cause that will draw them in.. my house is spotless and i don’t know why they come in..
because of the sweet nector, is it indangered by ants because they are small and can easily it the plant
Little ones. Black. Meat eaters, no sweets. Completely cleaned out cabinets. They come back. Have used ant traps, the sweet mix, everything the man at the do-it-yourself pest control place had. Used everything over-the-counter. No good. Took the kitchen apart, can’t find any food sources. They not on stove or in that area. Checked foundation areas, block house. Can’t figure where they’re getting in. Clean not an issue, wipe counters with bleach water and mop floors every night. Will appreciate any suggestions.
